Rentapao Riverside Waterfalls

Rentapao Riverside Vanuatu is THE unforgettable halt either for just a small tour outside Port-Vila (roughly 20 kms) or on the way to the Blue Hole and Eton beach. The perfect trip is to make a first stop, when leaving Port-Vila, at the ACTIV, the Mecca for fair trade in Vanuatu with the visit of the small production unit for chocolate followed by a tasting of the various products of AELAN Chocolate (some of them being medal winners at the Salon du Chocolat 2018 in Paris).

Then, continue along the round island road and turn left just after the Rentapao bridge. The path going along the river up to the waterfalls is nicely landscaped, the track is easy and relaxing and you can enjoy a swim at different places. A rope hangs there, waiting for you to jump. For even more fun, you can go on top of the waterfalls!

A fruit platter is waiting for you at the end of your tour and you can also buy some organic products at the small shop (home-made jams are excellent!)

Our advice: take some water shoes to prevent you cutting your feet on small river shells.
